It is time again to fill out the forms for the CDSO (anti-dumping). The deadline to file is July 30, 2018. I know many say it's a waste of time because our checks are so low now. We are told this is because new laws require anti-dumping duties monies collected to go into the US General fund now. We will work with Senator Kennedy's office to see if he can help change the law back to the money being distributed to the affected parties.
It is very important that you continue to submit these forms in each year in case they release this money in the future!
As in previous years, we have to submit the most current list of Louisiana Shrimp Association members who were also members at the time the shrimp antidumping petitions were filed. If you have not paid your 2017 dues to LSA we cannot submit your name on this list. Please mail your 2017 dues in if you have not already done so.
You can verify if you paid that year or now by clicking here- http://www.louisianashrimp.org/members.html
The forms you need to fill out are located on our website at: http://www.louisianashrimp.org/forms.html
The FY2017 Disbursement Report can be found on our website at: http://www.louisianashrimp.org/pd.html
If your name was not submitted as an injured party in the anti-dumping litigation to the CDSO by 2004 then this IS NOT FOR YOU.
Please do not contact LSA about this. We have provided web links for you to check your status with the information and documents we have received that you need. Please call the number below with your questions.
For questions concerning preparation of applications, please call U.S. Customs, Revenue Division: CDSOA Team - 317-614-4462.
